Our History & Innovation
Our story began with a commitment to solving common challenges in grounds maintenance. What started as a better way to level baseball infields grew into a full line of groomers sold across North America.

Started in the Shop
1990s
Randy Heying began building groomers in a small shop in Alton, Iowa in the early 90’s. The need for infield groomers that actually worked sparked a flame and the first Pro Infield Groomer was built. Local sales ignited a passion to do more and expand reach to help more people.

Heying Company Officially Started
2000
Heying Enterprises (dba Heying Company) is officially born. First company to design and build an electric lift infield groomer. Expanded line of infield groomers as national sales take off.

Introduced Greens Groomers and Sports Turf Groomers. Same factory-direct approach, built for different surfaces.
